Full-deployment testing protocols and procedures are used during prototype development and testing to determine product performance.
The Emergent Technologies Section specializes in discovering new technologies, new materials, or new products for use in the law enforcement, military, and public safety industries. Materials application and manufacturing services are available.

CORETAC personnel have signed Non-Disclosure Agreements for projects.
Companies working with the Emergent Technologies Section can be confident that their prototype, new technology, or new material will not be revealed to the public. Development and testing is done confidentially and discreetly.
Projects are code-named so that partner companies maintain confidentiality. These projects are currently in the development, planning, production, evaluation, or distribution phases of creation.
